Bearing Capacity of Recycled Self-Compacting Concrete-Filled Circular Steel Tubular Long Columns Subjected to Axial Load

To investigate the ultimate bearing capacity and deformation of recycled self-compacting concrete-filled circular steel tubular (RSCCFCST) long columns subjected to axial load, nine specimens with different concrete (RSCC) strength grades slenderness ratios are tested. The experimental results indicate that lateral deflection dominates buckling failure specimens. is enhanced gradually as RSCC grade increases but decreases ratio rises. load-strain curves linear basically coincide at elastic stage. decrease in or increase contributes improvement stiffness circumferential strains gradually. Based on combined tangent modulus theory RSCCFCST short columns, two estimation models presented predict columns. Additionally, comparisons between calculation demonstrate prediction established this study more accurate than other specifications mentioned.
